Ernströmgruppen makes further acquisitions in the electrical engineering field

Ernströmgruppen makes its second acquisition of the year and its fourth in the field of electrical engineering.

Trans El Matic AB (TEM) is a Swedish system supplier in electric power and automation technology with solutions for building automation, power stations for light and heat control, and well as switchgear solutions for small and large industrial applications. The company has a strong position in the market and builds innovative and efficient solutions from its premises in Jönköping. Together with its subsidiary Nässjö Elkonstruktion AB (Nelkab), the company has sales of around SEK 65 million and approximately 35 employees.

We are very happy to welcome a new family member in the electrical engineering field. Ernströmgruppen’s investments in automation, control and electricity supply is based on a macro movement towards urbanization, and an increasing need for energy efficiency measures. TEM is a well-run company that solves small and large needs in an industry we know will have a major impact on both the environment and society in the future.

I look forward to the journey ahead with Trans El Matic and I am happy that Cecilia Nilsson, Robert Vandrén and Hans Andersson, owners of Trans El Matic, have chosen Ernströmgruppen as their new owner”, says Pontus Cornelius, CEO, Ernströmgruppen.

In increasingly tough competition, it is important to constantly develop and streamline your business, to be able to continue delivering the products and services that make customers return. In the last year alone, we have taken great strides in digitalisation with both a new ERP and a drawing program. Add to that the acquisition of Nelkab, and you understand that we are open to change.

In Ernströmgruppen, we found a company that shares our core values and that thinks long-term, both in terms of companies and in terms of environmental work. The fact that Ernströmgruppen also has previous experience in the field of electrical engineering further improves the overall impression and gives us opportunities to grow even stronger together,” says Robert Vandrén, CEO, Trans El Matic.
