Katarina Ljungqvist Appointed to Ernströmgruppen’s Board of Directors

Ernströmgruppen is pleased to announce the appointment of Katarina Ljungqvist to its Board of Directors. Katarina brings extensive leadership experience from the financial sector. Until the end of last year, she served as CEO of Kommuninvest i Sverige AB, a credit market company owned by Swedish municipalities and regions, financing approximately 60 percent of the sector’s welfare investments.
Prior to that, Katarina spent more than three decades at Handelsbanken AB, holding several senior positions including Executive Vice President responsible for operations in Western Sweden, Head of Handelsbanken Digital, and serving as an adjunct member of the Group Executive Management. She also holds board positions at AB Svensk Exportkredit and Hufvudstaden AB.

With Katarina joining the Board, Ernströmgruppen strengthens its strategic capabilities and broadens its expertise to further develop the Group and its companies. The Board currently consists of Chairman Michael Olsson and members Katarina Ljungqvist, Kristina Willgård, Henrik Larsson Lyon, Eva Nilsagård, a representative from Ernströmgruppen’s owner Neudi & Co through Oscar Bördin, as well as family representatives Fabian Hielte and Maximilian Hobohm.
